This is a photography course created to develop an understanding on the ways that visual information affect us emotionally. It is structured around topics that have been the building blocks of visual education since the time of Vitruvius. With close to 3 hours of video, this is a comprehensive guide to developing a complex understanding of photography and it’s relation to light, colours, shapes, composition, image sequencing, rhythm, space and time. At a time when technology can bring to perfection almost any image, this course is directed at developing an understanding of how the act of looking at the world influences who we are and what we feel. In other words, it is about how photography can help us maintain and develop our humanity.
